OVERVIEW
Dimensional provides investment solutions through wealth model management based on academic research. Tools Model Center is the place where users view all the portfolios including Dimensional wealth models, create their portfolios and compare different portfolios for analyzing data. Comparing investment portfolios is a big part of Model Center that essentially allow users to make informed decisions and optimize their financial strategy.

THE WHY
Dimensional offer limited functionality to this feature. Clients can compare -
• Dimensional funds on Fund Center and do comparative analysis
• Their wealth models or Dimensional models and do comparative analysis
User created wealth models can be a combination of all the products like Dimensional Funds, Non-Dimensional Funds, Indices, Stocks, SMA Strategies or Dimensional Models. This serves as the current hack for clients if they want to compare other products. For example: they can make models with 100% weights to a single Non-Dimensional Fund and use it as a standalone entity to run comparative analyses with.
With this project, we would like to offer an independent interface for clients that have the capability to compare any product and run the analyses without going through the effort of creating a model.

The goal of this project is to incorporate a feature and deliver designs for an isolated platform on client site Tools for users to run comparative analyses of all the products easily and elegantly without having to make and save ad-hoc models.
